Rules

These are just general heads up and our basic rules. They're generally the same as they are in most other rpgs but please take the time to read and understand them. The owners are happy to answer any questions.

- Please use proper language, grammar, and tenses while posting. This is a third person game: "he/she" as opposed to "I/me." Keep spelling and grammatical mistakes to a minimum as much as you can unless using it to denote a dialect. Please do not use netspeak.

-A completed bio must be approved before a character can be played. Until the bio is approved by the owners, the character does not exist. The persona will be held for you, but the character will be considered inactive until approved.

- Posts must be treated chronologically. If you have your character with someone else and a third party joins, you must address them as if they were there, not continue on as if they don't exist. If a Joint Post (JP) is not posted on the game and someone tags the thread, the JP is no longer valid. Similarly, if you have written a JP and don't put it up before the action moves on, it is invalidated and whatever occurred during that JP is considered never to have happened.

-No Mary Sues or perfect/godlike characters. No controlling other people's characters. No carbon copies. Do not make perfect characters- everyone has flaws. Do not steal your character's premise entirely from a tv show, movie, book, comic, etc. You only control who you play, so you cannot kill, injure, or move another character without first consulting that character's player.

-Use celebrity personas only- no sketches, no "real" people, yourself, or the like. Please use, actors, singers, athletes, models, etc. Please use realistic personas for the age of your character. If it's been decades since the actor has played a teenager, please don't use them. We are willing to negotiate on this, so please consult an owner if you have questions.

-Before changing anything with your characters, you need to consult anyone who the change could and will affect such as your character's siblings, significant others, or best friends etc. Please ask before the changes are made, it's unfair to the other player(s) to change things without asking and expect them to adapt. Updates need to be sent to the owners so that changes can be made on the website.

-Language and situations are kept realistic to the age group, so there may be swearing, drug use, violence, and sex. Please label any potentially offensive sexual or violent posts with an NC-17 in the tag. Players read at their own risk.

-Keep personal issues off list, if you have a problem that's affecting game play, please come to the owners and we are more than willing to help. The owners are here to help you with bios, plots, and rpging in general so don't hesitate to come to us with quesitons/comments/concerns about any of these issues- that's what we're here for. It goes without saying, no flaming people on board. The OOC group is for OOC discussions but is not intended to be used to settle personal scores.

Additional rules may be added as they are thought up, and players will be advised of them on the OCC board.
