Choir is split into two groups. Firstly, school choir is the group that often sings for school assemblies and for school performances; it is open to students of the school with natural talent and timing. Competition choir is only available to students in Choir class and admission is by audition only.

The school choir is an SATB (Soprano, Mezzo, Alto, Tenor, Bass, Baritone) choir that meets Tuesdays after school. The competition choir includes the Ambrose Altos (an SSAATTBB octet), the Jazz Mongers (SATB Jazz Singers), as well as Solo singers.

All places in the Ambrose Altos, Jazz Mongers, and Soloists are given by audition only, and each member must be part of the school choir as well. They meet Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school.
