Green Grocer- Like the bank, this is the one choice for citizens of Ambrose Island to get their groceries without going to the mainland. Luckily, it supplies everything from household supplies to fresh, delicious food. They also sell basic pet food and supplies.

Indulge- To truly pamper the body one must look no further than Indulge. With natural lotions, essential oils, and incenses as well as bath, beauty, and makeup supplies, you'll soon be ready to treat your body to a night of luxury. There is also a registered massage therapist who works on site three days a week; she takes both appointments and drop-ins.

Joe's Liquor Store- Whether you're buying a six-pack of beer or the finest French wine, Joe's has it all- and his store is the only one on the island that sells alcohol. He supplies all the restaurants in town with their booze, and he's been doing so for three decades now. The bottles are now collecting dust since Joe's eyesight has started going, so it's not uncommon for a teenager to flash a barely passable fake ID and walk out with a few kegs.

Kosher Butcher & Delicatessen- This shop serves not only Ambrose Island's Jewish community, but also non-Jews who are looking for more care and quality in their meats and cheeses than is available at the Green Grocer.

Noah's Ark Pet Store- The grocery store does sell some basic pet necessities if you suddenly realize you're out of cat food and need it in a hurry, but this is your speciality store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they sell cat and dog accessories as well as rodents, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians- and everything you need to go with them.

Page Nine- If you can't wait for the library to order in that book you've been dying to read, Page Nine can get it for you twice as fast, though you will have to buy it. They stock the most popular and classic titles, and are always listening to customer feedback for which books to add next. They also have chairs where you can sit and read if you want.

Ridgeline Drive Pawn Shop- Like any good pawn shop, there's always someone about to lose a possession here. But the shop provides a valuable service, purchasing old jewelry, electronics, and other goods that may be of value from Ambrose's residents. Waves- Located, not surprisingly, on the beach at Wreck Cove, Waves sells everything you need for a day on the ocean: surf and boogie boards, wet and dry suits, surf accessories, as well as clothing and home decor that fit the surfer lifestyle. They even take orders for custom surfboards for those who can afford it, as well as repair boards and gear.
