Restaurants

Ambrose Bar & Grill- This is the most expensive restaurant on the island and the price gap between this one and the next-priciest is substantial. If you want good food, great atmosphere, and attentive servers ready to anticipate your every need this is the place for you. There is also a banquet hall that can be rented for special occasions or large parties, as long as you're willing to pay for it.

Denny's- Denny's has the distinct honor of being the only chain restaurant on the island, though its presence was met with some resistance at first. However, the 24-hour restaurant opened anyway and has done well. It mostly serves truckers delivering goods to the island before and after other restaurants are open, teenagers out late, and the elderly.

Primrose Cafe- This is a cafe restaurant operated by a local woman. The warm, friendly atmosphere and tasty coffees are a favorite with the islanders. She only uses the most delicious fair trade beans. It not only has nice, comfortable couches to relax into, but also cafe-style tables, and she is almost always there with a smile on her face.
