History: After graduating high school, Carmen, unsure of what she wanted to do in life, became a flight attendant along with a friend. It was there that she met Julio, a pilot. In less than two weeks they were dating, and in less than a year, they were married. Clara was born not long after that, and two years later, Alicia came along. Carmen became a stay-at-home mom until Alicia had started school, then she went into interior design.

Carmen felt it important for her daughters to fit in with her peers, which wasn't ever a problem for Alicia, who's always had lots of friends. Once she started high school, however, it became more important to her to be popular, especially with boys. She was already popular with the boys in her grade, but she wasn't really interested in any of them, having her sights set on older boys. She cultivated a new image, wearing sexier clothes (sometimes clothes her parents wouldn't approve of, and she'd simply wear something more conservative over the outfit and take it off once her parents were out of sight, knowing Clara wouldn't snitch), and flirting more boldly than before.

The plan worked, maybe a little too well. She became a major gossip target, and attracted the attention of the boy of her dreams, a junior named Brian. After Brian had just broken up with his longtime girlfriend Amy, Alicia began hooking up with Brian and eventually lost her virginity to him. He soon got back together with Amy, but Alicia was so infatuated with him she couldn't break things off with him immediately. After a while, her pride and conscience won over, and she broke things off with Brian, but it was too late. Somehow, one of Amy's friends got wind of their affair and it not only caused another breakup between Brian and Amy, but Alicia was branded the school slut and became a social outcast. She was grateful when her family moved to Ambrose Island in January, giving her a new chance for a fresh start.

Since then, Alicia has gotten the reputation she really wanted- fun, sexy, and cool, rather than the school slut. She's not the most popular girl in school, but she hopes to get there in time, when she's a senior.
