OPERATION: N.I.G.H.T

To some extent, the US Government has been aware of various supernatural forces and entities and for nearly 200 years, they were allowed to live within the US so long as they kept themselves hidden.

In the 1950's this changed.

A program was developed called Operation : N.I.G.H.T. (Nocturnal Information Genetics Holding and Tactics) which was designed to study and kill any threatening supernatural forces, good or evil. It used the promise of "national security" to lure unsuspecting creatures out of hiding and eradicate a vast majority of them. The program was shut down after five years but was picked up by an unnamed civilian company which continued the study and research. Everything that could be done to these people were done, including making weapons to finding miracle cures for cancer or aging (for the right price). For over fifty years genetic tests have been done, but now with advancements in cloning and genetics, the project, now simply known as NIGHT, has taken off and their power seems to be unmatched. But the powers in the night will not be held back. Not forever.
